at that, but try joking about it, for example, with the parents of the kids who were killed by
two anti-depressant filled teens at Columbine.

Hi Pete, Yes. I'll agree to that. Just like the guy over at Virginia Tech. No disrepect, but it's kind of like talking about the weather, everyone talks about it, but nobody does anything about it. And the script would really have to make the general perception of the populas change to get some kind of early warning in place. I'm sure it would help bring more attention to this tragic problem. Like the kid at VT, from what I understand there were all kinds of early warning signs that nobody paid any attention to. I think I just ended the last sentence in a preposition. Bad for a script writer..

Then you have folks like my good friend John Walsh that became an advocate for his son & went after the bad guys first hand. You know I've worked with John on a weekly basis for over seven years. And I just finished producing a day long program for The annual Catawba County Chamber of Commerce "Women's Leadership Conference" at Rock Barn Country Club was standing room only. Featured speaker was Beth Holloway, mother of Natalee Ann Holloway who dissappeared on May 30, 2005, during a high school graduation trip to Aruba. Her disappearance caused a media sensation in the United States. In response to her daughters disappearance, she founded the International Safe Travels Foundation. The foundation is a non-profit organization, designed "to inform and educate the public to help them travel more safely as they travel internationally" She also signed copies of her book, "Loving Natalee: A Mother's Testament of Hope and Faith. We also work with The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in Washington, DC., No laughing matter there either.

But I think, if you're going to do a motion picture, five mil is a little light. Then there is always outputs like The History Channel to consider. Write a proposal and get the MacArthur Foundation or the like to fund you. But the last guy to get 5 mil, that I know of was Ken Burns from
GM. Today, Ken could probably bail out GM by himself. (grin). Sorry, I'm trying to be sincere.

You would, in normal economic times, be able to get at least half that and shoot Cine Alta or Varicam
like so many production companies are doing today.

It's a tough time to get financing, but it can be done.

Answer - Their psychological history to include a build up of being supressed e motionally and even a reaction build up from seeing endless violations take place. There are many possibles. At the root of any reaction is a truth not everyone is prepared to take into consideration...

Dear Peter, I was alarmed to hear about so many children being pumped with medications in USA..we have it here too but not as bad. Gosh. The diagnosis of psychological conditions to give medications is also a huge worry. Emotional problems need counselling not a pill. The consequences of this MUST be highlighted.... I wonder what the long term repercussions of this on the child/adults state of being too.
