Dear Members of T.M.P

I'm writing to seek your advice on writing a book about my late mother.

I was 7 years old when i lost my beloved mother and i do not konw anything about her, but few months ago, i met her very close friend who told me an interesting story of my mother and i want to write a book dedicate to her.

I'm amazed about her, and i want you to please assist me through this project.

Thank you all...

What is it that you need?
Will it be a memoir,
an autobiography, biography?
Or a series of short stories
with a common thread?

If she lived most of her life in one area run an ad in the largest paper, asking for input and contacts. See if you can create a family tree or if someone has one. Also where she worked. I would be creative as a writer embellishing and imagining what she might have said, done. Have fun with it, get outrageous, inventive, funny, sexy. Use a computer and a loose leaf notebook so you can easily move items and keep in order. I would list everything by month and year in the right sequence, leaving room on pages to add. Hollywood will buy a so-called true story and the writer doesn't recognize it when produced. All I'm saying is that anything goes. Make her a mom who has universal apeal, assertive, dynamic, whatever strikes you.
