My Bio/Profile: My name is Tileda Lovette Moore, born in Dallas Texas. I have always been intrigued by pushing the odds. As a young woman I figured it out: No one else can live my life to the fullest but me. I was and still seem to be a very adventurous person. Some would say that I was crazy, because I have lived a full life. I knew at age 12 that I didn’t want to be like every other girl in my family. Fear of the unknown is what controlled the lives of my family members. No one ever took any chances and were content with the minimal quality of life. I learned to fear very little, and when I am in fear I face it.
I always knew that I wanted to own my own company some day and that I wanted it to be associated with the entertainment industry. My Economics teacher had us create a business plan for an imaginary company, TLM was born at that moment. I moved to Shreveport in 2006 for love and ended up finding much more. I learned of the film industry Within weeks I was on a set for the first time in my life. Something that everyone in my family had said couldn’t happen. I tried my hardest to get an internship to no avail. I asked questions, searched and researched for an opportunity to get behind the scenes. I needed knowledge and no one was willing to give it to me. I was told that I would have to know someone. I was forced to learn the best way I knew how: through being around the set as much as possible, networking, watching, listening and volunteering to help cast people.
The entertainment industry is what I want; entertainment is in my blood and I have to be a part of it.
I am the CEO/Founder of Talent Life Management Corporation (TLM). We are a not for profit organization specializing in talent and life enrichment.
The movie industry came to Shreveport in 2002-2003. Now they are trying to pull out and move on, the statement made was there is no talent here. Well, I can show them better than I can tell them.
The only requirement is an open mind and willingness to learn. Giving back what was freely given to us. Through helping others we come to realize our true purpose. This program will not only enhance our community, but will allow true equal opportunity. Helping you become larger than your dreams.
Talent- We feel dreams are the root of all talent. Dreams are the main components in most individuals lives that are last priority. I don't know about you, but I was told as a child to grow up, get a job, and dream when I was sleeping. I chose to continue dreaming while I was awake. Through seeking out these dreams and tapping into the gifts or talents, we will awaken hope.
'With hope comes confidence, self esteem, and peace with one's self.
Once we ascertain the root of your talent we will help it grow. Once you realize your gifts, the potential for growth is endless. This is when we implement the Life portion of the program.
Life- Social behavior, ethics/morals, tolerance, experiences, unity, communication
Management- Involves but is not limited to internships and apprenticeships. Hands on training is a major part of the learning process. We will offer the community and local companies the opportunity to participate in this process.

Locals look to make impact in Hollywood South

So far 2010 has been a banner year for the local film industry. There are 5 projects being filmed in the area right now, some of which have big-name stars attached.

But one production caught our eye on Saturday. An independent film called "The Hurting Kind" has a cast and crew made up almost entirely of locals.

Director Glen Grefe and executive producer Richard F. Law are hoping more locals can make an impact on the growing industry in Hollywood South.
