My Interests

My Interests

I am a fifty-eight year old lady. I am a mother of five and I have eight grandchildren. Through my lifetime I have tried my hand at book publishing and screenplay writing, but I find myself enjoying my new hobby now that the kids are grown of making videos to show work that I have done and extend my obsession with photography in video form.

I first started with a youtube channel under Dorisanne13. On top of doing short commercial videos about my screenplays I have…

Judy Cerda as Jeanne in The Crawling Chaos Movie!

I did a night shoot tonight playing the role of Jeanne in a movie called "The Crawling Chaos".  It's a science fiction/horror movie that is slated for some good festivals.  It's about cults and witchcraft.  I'm so glad I wasn't in the scenes that involved spiders that I heard about!  I was in a nice comfortable office scene instead.  The director and crew were great to work with and it's nice to work in a science fiction movie again. I'll keep everyone posted about it.

Judy Cerda as Angelina in Dolly Witherspoons Play!

Today I performed in another murder mystery play with the touring group I am in as the flirty Italian Angelina who has been married 5 times! We performed at a beautiful hotel for a bank's anniversary party, Bank of Santa Rosa, in Lafayette. The crowd was fun and responsive and the peformance was great. Looking forward to more shows with the company in different roles as we do different shows.

Judy Cerda in The Cedars Movie

Tonight I had a great film shoot in Watsonville. I played the role of a difficult customer in the feature length movie "The Cedars" which is a great movie with a great story. The director and crew were very professional and super efficient. The actor playing the clerk and I had a fun time arguing on screen in our respective roles. It was quite a nice crew and a fun time.  I'll keep everyone posted about when this movie comes out.

Meanwhile, my movie "Chronicles of the Order:…

Judy Cerda as Singer on Emergence CD

I had a three hour singing/recording session for a band tonight who is producing a cd and hired me to sing some songs on it. I have recorded for them several times now and it's getting to be a regular gig which is wonderful. It turns out that after last week's session they called me back to sing more tracks and more songs today for them and I am going back to do still more songs next week. I love the music I am learning and am really enjoying this job. I am informed that this cd should be…
