LA Directors - Contact Me If Hiring!

Los Angeles is on my mind. I really need to move there. I was born there and that's where I belong. I get called in for auditions constantly from casting directors in LA as well as agents contacting me about representation much more than in San Francisco. I guess I have gotten so much experience now that I am what they want. I get so fed up with some of the SF directors who don't know talent and cast friends who take their classes or follow them around to events, or don't even know how to…

Judy Cerda as Lucinda Sachs in Murder Mystery Play!

I just got home a little while ago from a performance in Granite Bay. I played the role of Lucinda Sachs, a glamorous Hollywood movie star from the 1920's, in a murder mystery play called "The Gatsby Murder". We performed at an incredibly beautiful country club in Granite Bay (near Sacramento) and it went really well. It was also fun driving down with the director and another actor and stopping for lunch on the way. Our costumes for the play were great tonight and I'll be getting some photos…

Judy Cerda as Bank Teller in Mechanic's Bank Video!

I had a great day on set today acting in a bank video for a chain of banks to demonstrate how to react in robbery situations. I played the role of a bank teller in different robberies (emotional scenes) and we filmed in Concord. It was nice to work with this director and DP again as I had worked on a commercial with them last year. I also got to work with another actor (a bank robber) whom I had been in a feature film with last year (Come Back Puppy Come Back!). He already received his dvd…

Judy Cerda as Angelina Giovanni Montebello Virginia in Murder Mystery!

I performed again in The Witherspoon Millions murder mystery play tonight as the flirty, many times married Angelina again which requires an Italian accent (which I have learned for the role) and the show tonight was at the gorgeous Bella Mia restaurant in San Jose for a private birthday party. The crowd was really nice and the show went well so it was loads of fun; it's nice to make money for having a nice dinner and performing for a crowd and definitely worth it.

Judy Cerda as Angelina in Dolly Witherspoons Millions Murder Mystery Theatre!

Today I did another murder mystery dinner show in the Dolly Witherspoons Millions play as the flirty Angelina again. We performed at the beautiful Michael's restuarant in Mountain View for a company. The show went good and the audience was big and fun. I play the role again tomorrow night at another place.

Judy Cerda as Judy Stevens in Video

I spent the day on set today at Stanford Medical Center in a training video (for numerous doctors and hospitals) playing the role of a concerned daughter (Judy Stevens was my name in the video) whose mother is dying of cancer. It was an emotional role that involved crying and talking to doctors. I got to meet some real Stanford doctors and work with some nice actors. The video will be distributed widely across hospitals in the state and will help doctors and interns. It was nice to play a…
