But Friends star Matt LeBlanc and his ex-wife Melissa McKnight looked very 'friend-ly' last night when they were spotted leaving a pre-Golden Globe party in Hollywood.
Emerging from celebrity favourite restaurant Osteria Mozza, the former couple were laughing and both tenderly resting their hands on each other's back.

The Friends star, who was dressed in a dapper black suit, looked particularly chipper in the company of his former love.
And it's no wonder why, ex-model McKnight looking stunning and leggy in a clingy long-sleeved mini-dress.
The blonde swept her tresses up into a chic up-do and wore some cute black flats.
Matt is nominated for Best TV Comedy Actor at the Golden Globes this evening for his role on the British/American comedy series Episodes.
He plays himself in the show about a 'British husband-and-wife comedy writing team who travel to Hollywood to remake their successful British TV series, with disastrous results.'
Matt and Melissa's marriage crumbled in 2006 amid tabloid revelations of an incident with a lapdancer.
In June 2005, the TV star admitted to "careless and irresponsible" behavior with a stripper during a motorcycle trip to Canada.

Following the incident, the couple separated in January 2006 during which time Matt had moved on with his Joey co-star Andrea Anders.
The actor filed for divorce later that year, citing 'irreconcilable differences.'
The former couple have one child together, a seven-year-old daughter Marina who suffers from seizures thought to be a form of dysplasia.
Just last month the actor was in London and was spotted model Jo Spyrou in the Amika nightclub in Kensington.
Matt was instantly drawn to the trainee teacher but she was unimpressed by his sleazy charms and refused to go back to his hotel room.
Jo was out with a group of friends and didn't pay much attention to the now silver haired actor until she was introduced to him by a mutual friend.

The pair hit it off and Jo said that the American was a really 'nice guy' and he had a great sense of humour.
After dancing and fliritng with the star she posed for a picture with him.
She told the Daily Star Sunday newspaper: 'He cuddled up to me and said that I smelled nice. He also commented on the dress I was wearing, he really seemed to like it.'
The 22-year-old said that the part of her dress Matt liked the most were the cut out bits on the side which in the pictures you can see him stroking.
After his compliments failed to get brunette back to his hotel room he pulled out the big guns.
Jo, from London, claims that the Joey star turned to her and said 'What ya doin?' in the same tone that his character used to speak.
She said to the newspaper: 'In the show he used to say 'How ya doin' but other than that it was exactly the same.'
Even though Jo admits that she fancied Matt she felt it would be inappropriate to go back to his hotel.
She added to the paper: 'He was very flirty but he's a lot older than me. Even now it all seems so mad.'
