LOS ANGELES, Dec. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - PUNCTURED HOPE is an Academy Awards(R) 2010 Qualified Feature Film for nomination consideration. The film was very successful throughout its awards' qualification run of theatrical screenings this past November in Los Angeles.
As a result of increased awareness and interest in the film, additional private and public screenings are scheduled to take place in Los Angeles between December 11 and December 24.

The Canadians Abroad California social organization and the Eastman Kodak Company are the sponsors of two private screenings at the Kodak Screening Room (6700 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles). The first screening is on December 11 at 7:00 PM. The second screening, followed by a reception and a Q&A period with Director Bruno Pischiutta and with Producer Daria Trifu, is on December 13 at 3:00 PM.

Maestro Bruno Pischiutta and Producer Daria Trifu will be attending all the screenings. "We enjoy this Awards Season and it is always interesting to witness the viewers' spontaneous reaction." Between the screenings, they will be working on their upcoming feature film production, which is based on the novel "Breaking My Silence" written by Jane McCormick. Jane was, for many years, very close to Frank Sinatra. The film will deal with the relation between child abuse and prostitution. It will be non-graphic and it will create a new genre. "The structure of this new feature will be something that has never been seen before."
