Summary:

 

The position works directly with sales on new and existing deals to maximize revenue and reports to the Associate Director, Sales Operations, International VOD/EST Sales and Contract Management. The position will interface directly with the Worldwide PPV/VOD/EST Sales and Marketing group and its clients as well as the Product Clearance, Technical Services, TVD Sales Operations, Finance, Accounting & Legal departments. The position is also responsible for fulfilling Fox's multiple obligations to Licensees according to each individual contract. This includes managing contract extensions, creating and managing product notifications, coordinating material delivery, overseeing client compliance, entering contract data into the accounting system and is also the primary point of contact for day to day client management.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

 

Pre Sales

  • Evaluate market and historical sales to determine where product will fall in pricing grids, and determine product volume caps.
  • Create initial product consideration for negotiations
  • Engage in sales discussion for qualifying product limitations as well as review pending deal drafts to identify notice/title provisions that might present compliance issues.


Client and Contract Management

  • Fulfill contract extensions and ensure that necessary notifications are delivered to the clients (including holdback requirements, advertising restrictions, etc).
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of Feature Film and Television availability notices for international PPV/VOD and EST clients.
  • Monitor rights clearance analysis via internal systems to identify media, territory, language and holdback restrictions for titles included on availability lists and notices.
  • Determine and notify clients of initial wholesale prices as well as any price reductions and promotions
  • Track servicing for certain licensees with the servicing department so that material is ordered and delivered in time according to contractual deadlines
  • Responsible for setting up complex deals in accounting system and entering licensed product based on media, method of transmission, market, language, rights, holdbacks, category, multiple license fees, exhibitions, channels, etc.
  • Liaise with servicing group to ensure that clients receive approved content in accordance with approved license periods
  • Manage title offerings and confirm orders with clients, and provide regular status updates to management
    Collect and communicate key title data (synopses, talent, etc.) to licensees
  • Coordinate availability of alternate versions and languages
  • Ensure iTunes licensing is accurate and timely.
  • Ensure that licensees have access to trade websites

Desired Skills & Experience

The position requires a Bachelors Degree and at least 4 years experience in Intl. TV Sales Operations. In addition, you will be a strategic individual who is motivated, tactful and able to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships on a worldwide basis. Candidates must also possess the following skills:
• Must be able to take direction and work well with others.
• Ability to engage in negotiation with upper management and in a meeting.
• Remarkable problem solving and customer service skills.
• Highly organized, extremely detail oriented.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to take initiative and to identify and develop new opportunities.
• Ability to interpret complicated licensing agreements.
• Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel – advanced use, Outlook)
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with priority demands
• Familiarity with digital film and television download services (iTunes, Xbox, etc)
